Day One
Travel from Phoenix to sunny San Diego! After check-in to the Embassy Suites San Diego, join your fellow guests for an Evening Reception from 5:30 to 7pm (included). Spend the rest of the evening exploring San Diego and enjoying dinner on your own at one of the numerous restaurants nearby.
WRDay Two
Happy Thanksgiving! Spend the morning relaxing and enjoy the day exploring on your own. Stroll through San Diego’s vibrant Gaslamp Quarter and admire the Victorian-era architecture. Wander the shops of Seaport Village and see the festive poinsettia tree, ride the historic carousel and enjoy live street entertainers. Early this evening, embark on a Thanksgiving Gourmet Dinner Cruise. On board you will enjoy a celebratory chef-prepared buffet with all the trimmings. Take in the incredible views of San Diego’s iconic waterfront, including the Coronado Bay Bridge, the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, the Star of India, and the Naval Air Station North Island. Enjoy festive décor and background music while you dine. Choose to purchase a creative craft cocktail, wine, or beer from the fully stocked bar. Sit back and enjoy the ride as the crew takes care of the details. After your cruise, visit the iconic Hotel del Coronado for the Holiday Lightshow Spectacular! This light display showcases the Norfolk Pine that was originally made famous in 1904 as the world’s first electrically lit outdoor Christmas Tree. The holiday season has officially begun!
FB, DDay Three
Wake to enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before departing for Del Mar for some live horse racing and an included lunch. The Del Mar Racetrack, famously known as “where the turf meets the surf” was founded in 1927 by Bing Crosby. Choose a favorite horse, place a bet and take in the thrill of live racing! After collecting your winnings, head to Riverside and check-in to the Hyatt Place. This evening, visit the Mission Inn Hotel to marvel at the Festival of Lights, on your own. With more than 5 million lights, animated figures, horse-drawn carriages, an ice rink and entertainment, the Festival is sure to put you in the holiday spirit!

After a final included breakfast at the hotel, depart for the return trip to Phoenix.
