Reno - BBQ & Blues & Brews

Day One

Today we fly from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to spectacular Reno, Nevada, known as “The Biggest Little City in the World”. We’ll spend four nights at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino, in the heart of downtown Reno. Tonight, enjoy an included welcome dinner at Louis’ Basque Corner, home to the world famous Picon Punch. Enjoy family-style American West Basque cuisine specialties which may include shrimp and tongue Basquaise, oxtails, lamb chops and sirloin steaks. And be sure to try a Picon Punch, also known as the “Basque Cocktail”.

Day Two

This morning, enjoy breakfast with your included voucher before we visit the National Automobile Museum, which houses 225 meticulously preserved automobiles. Explore the exhibits such as the Speed Exhibit, or Cars of the Stars which showcases automobiles owned by celebrities like Elvis and Sinatra. Then it’s on to the 28th Annual BBQ, Brews and Blues Festival! Your VIP ticket entitles you to all-you-can-eat BBQ and unlimited beverages in a shaded seating area. Sample brews from more than 50 microbreweries and indulge in a variety of foods like barbecue ribs, smoked beef brisket, pulled pork, street tacos, funnel cakes and more. You’ll be in proximity to the main stage where a variety of performers will entertain throughout the day. Your ticket is valid during festival hours, from 3pm to 10pm today, so stay as long as you’d like, or leave the festival grounds to go explore on your own.

Day Three

After breakfast with your included voucher, it’s back to the festival for more BBQ, Blues and Brews! Today, your VIP ticket will allow you to enjoy all the food, beer and music you’d like from noon until 10pm, so pace yourself, or go all in! Need a break from the festivities? Enjoy the free time to explore Reno’s many casinos, take a stroll along the Riverwalk or Midtown District, and take a photo at the Reno Arch.

Day Four

Prepare for a fun filled day in Virginia City, one of Nevada’s most popular historic cities. After breakfast with your included voucher, we’ll head to this legendary mining town that has numerous historic attractions, merchants and artists and lays claim to the richest silver deposit in the world. Then climb aboard for a scenic Lake Tahoe Cruise. Marvel at the beauty of Lake Tahoe’s crystal blue waters and enjoy amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Sit back, relax and enjoy the fresh air.

Day Five

After breakfast with your included voucher, pack up your luggage and your great memories of Reno when head to the airport for our flight back to Phoenix.
