The Prescott Chamber of Commerce coordinates this festival and strives to bring audiences a variety of bluegrass shows: traditional and contemporary; national, regional, and local groups; family and non-family bands – while maintaining the highest standards for the music.

Day Excursion
Travel to the mile-high City of Prescott for the 44th Annual Bluegrass Festival. This festival began at Watson Lake Park as a fiddle contest dedicated to a local fiddler before taking on the character of a typical bluegrass festival. In 1996, the festival moved to its current location at the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza entertaining audiences with a variety of bluegrass shows from traditional to contemporary. Enjoy a music-filled day and stroll the historic downtown streets of Prescott for shopping, eating and old fashion saloons. Lunch on own. Enjoy a glass of wine on bus before heading back to Phoenix valley.
