WELCOME TO PITTSBURGH - Transfer to your downtown hotel for a 4-night stay. Known as the “City of Bridges,”Pttsburgh boasts a world record 446 bridges. Tonight is on your own. Maybe try a Pittsburgh salad, a green salad topped with French fries.

PITTSBURGH CITY TOUR - HEINZ HISTORY CENTER - PNC PARK - Today enjoy a Pttsburgh City Tour. Learn about the coal mines that lead to “Rivers of Steel” and Carnegie’s Homestead Steel Works. Visit the Heinz History Center, and visit and tour the PNC Ballpark, home to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers at a popular local restaurant.

Day Thrree

PHIPPS CONSERVATORY - FRICK’S CLAYTON MANSION - CARNEGIE MUSEUMS - Today, visit the 1893 Henry Phipps Conservatory, a world-class garden experience in the middle of Pittsburgh’s vibrant Oakland neighborhood. Later visit Henry Clay Frick’s Clayton Mansion and the world-renowned Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the Carnegie Museum of Art. Later, ride the 1877 Duquesne Incline, a funicular railway that travels to the top of Mt. Washington for spectacular views of the Three Rivers.

FALLINGWATER - FLIGHT 93 NATIONAL MEMORIAL - Travel south and tour the magnificent Fallingwater Home, considered Frank Lloyd Wright’s greatest residential design. Finished in 1935 for Edgar Kaufmann of the department store fame, this 22 room home is integrated into the natural landscape and furnished with pieces designed by Wright himself. After lunch, visit the Flight 93 National Memorial, a tribute to the passengers and crew of United Airlines Flight 93, who courageously thwarted a terrorist a ack on September 11, 2001. Tonight enjoy your Farewell Dinner at a popular local restaurant.

Day Five

FORT PITT MUSEUM - HOME - Visit the Fort Pitt Museum and learn about Western Pennsylvania’s pivotal role during the French & Indian War, the American Revolution, and the birthplace of Pi sburgh. Later transfer to the Pittsburgh Airport and fly home with wonderful memories.
