From a Wright Flyer to the famous Super Guppy, Pima Air and Space Museum includes one of the largest collections of historic aircraft in the world. Six indoor exhibit hangers (three dedicate to WWII), and outdoor areas include more than 400 aircraft and 125,000 aerospace artifacts. A guided tram tour travels 1.5 miles over the museums 80 acres and showcases significant aircraft in the outdoor collection. The Flight Grill on-site restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Navy and Air Force Fighters. From the Flight Grill patio, guests enjoy mountain views and can watch as aircraft take-off and land across the street at Davis Monthan Air Force Base.

Day Excursion
Head to southeast Tucson to visit Pima Air and Space Museum, one of the largest non-government funded aviation and space museums in the world. Climb aboard an open-air tram for a 45-minute narrated tour of the planes located in the outdoor display area. Covering 1.5 miles, view more than 150 planes in the collection and hear highlights of the more significant aircraft. Enjoy a box lunch at the museum’s restaurant, Flight Grill.
