SPEND A DAY "CELEBRATING INDIGENOUS CREATIVITY"

The Heard Museum is home to one of the largest collections of American Indian art in the world. You’ll be treated to a private tour of the Museum, which includes Native baskets, beadwork, drawings, fashion, jewelry, photography, pottery and more. Founded in 1929, the Museum is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institute, and hosts live performances, festivals and demonstrations.

For lunch, visit the first and only Native-Owned Restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale, the Frybread Lounge. Featuring Indigenous foods, the Frybread Lounge is a farm-to-table restaurant that supports local farmers, Native businesses, and promotes a more connected food culture.

After a delicious lunch, visit the Native Art Market which enables Native Americans to sell directly to the public, promoting economic empowerment. More than just art, you’ll experience the stories and culture of Arizona’s Native tribes. Watch Native American Dancers as they tell their stories and express appreciation through music and dance.

Express your own creativity by making a dream catcher, a traditional Native art piece that is believed to bring its owner good luck.

Start your day with a private tour of the Heard Museum, a private not-for-profit museum that showcases American Indian art and culture.
