Day One
Visit the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum to see more than 200 animal species and 1,200 plant varieties! This world-renowned 98-acre museum combines a zoo, botanical garden, art gallery and national history museum, all focused on the Sonoran Desert region. After enjoying a box lunch at the Museum, we’ll head to the Desert Diamond Hotel and Casino to check in for one night. Desert Diamond has hundreds of slot machines, table games, a poker room, and bingo. This evening, enjoy a hilarious production of Hocus Pocused (or “Witch, Please?!) at the Gaslight Theater. This spellbinding spoof features wild villains, hilarious mishaps, and toe-tapping musical numbers as the witches make their grand comeback with a wink and a cackle! Voted Tucson’s best theater, the Gaslight is an intimate theater that started in 1977.
LDay Two
After breakfast this morning, go underground on a tour of Kartchner Caverns. Kartchner Caverns is a living limestone cave discovered in 1974. Its existence was kept secret for years to ensure its protection before becoming a state park in 1988. The cave stays at a consistent 72 degrees Fahrenheit year-round. During your guided cave tour, see pristine, delicate formations, including the 58-foot-tall Kubla Column.
