Tournament of Roses 4 Day + Volunteer

Day One

This morning, we leave Phoenix and head to glamorous Palm Springs. Enjoy browsing through the many shops and have lunch on your own in downtown Palm Springs. We’ll then travel to the Cambria Hotel in Anaheim, in the heart of the Anaheim resort district. There are many options in Anaheim or downtown Disney for an evening of exploring and dinner on your own.

Day Two

It's an early morning today so we’ll start with a grab and go breakfast. Today you will be part of the magic of the Rose Parade! Visit the float barn and help with the final stages of applying a variety of materials to the floats, including seeds, bark, fruits, vegetables and flowers. (Subject to change based on float committee needs. Dress warm and bring gloves!) This afternoon you can experience the hotel’s 30,000 sq ft water park, outdoor hot tub, or putting green, or spend time exploring Anaheim on your own. Celebrate New Year’s Eve tonight with dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Anaheim!

Day Three

Happy New Year and Welcome to parade day! It’s another early morning, so get a grab and go breakfast before we depart for the world-famous Tournament of Roses Parade. Enjoy your reserved seat, with a great view of the beautiful floats you helped to build! “Welcome” is the theme for the 138th annual Tournament of Roses Parade. The 2027 theme celebrates the simple joy of belonging—that feeling that you’re always welcome, no matter who or where you are. It’s the warmth of family—whether related or chosen, the love of good friends, and the welcoming embrace of community. Rest at the hotel this afternoon before we head to Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner. After a filling meal, visit the Mission Inn Riverside Festival of Lights, featuring more than 10 million lights, animated displays, an ice rink, and Santa Claus.
