AMERICA'S NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

The 136th Rose Parade and 110th Rose Bowl Game will be held on Wednesday, January 1, 2025

For millions of people around the world, the Rose Parade is an iconic New Year’s Day tradition. The Rose Parade travels 5 ½ miles down Colorado Blvd. and features four types of entries: floral-decorated floats entered by a participating corporation, non-profit organization or municipality, equestrian units, bands, and Tournament entries. Rose Parade participants have long histories with the Tournament of Roses and keep the traditions alive.

Volunteer to Decorate Floats at No Extra Cost

Experience the magic of the floats before they make their debut in the Rose Parade. During the final stages of preparation a variety of seeds, bark, fruits and vegetables, grasses and of course, flowers are being applied to the floats by experienced professionals as well as hard working volunteers.

Community members and visitors are needed each year to decorate floats for the Rose Parade. Whether looking to participate as an organized group or individual, float builders are happy to have the help.

Riverside Festival of Lights

The 2022 Mission Inn Festival of Lights will return with lighting displays and décor along Main Street. The event will open as a self-guided holiday lighting and décor experience.
