Laissez les bons temps rouler! Join us as we travel to Louisiana for Mardi Gras 2023! We will tour the Tabasco Factory, have lunch at Rip Van Winkle Gardens and enjoy wine tasting at the Teche Plantation. All before we spend the day getting VIP treatment at the King's Parade in Downtown Lafayette. Following Fat Tuesday, we will head to New Orleans for a cooking class & amazing Brunch while we spend the night at a property in the Frech Quarter.

Day Two | Feb 20
Start the day with a tour at the Tabasco Factory for a guided tour. Lunch will be at Rip Van Winkle Gardens. Following lunch, we will head to the Teche Plantation for an afternoon wine tasting. Dinner will be on own this evening.

Throw me Something Mister!
Spend the Day watching the Mardi Gras Kings Parade! We will be at the VIP Bandstand area in the heart of Downtown. Complete with covered seating and private restrooms. In addition to primetime parade viewing, you will sample king cake, boudin, and sip on Lafayette's signature cocktail "The Rouler".

Depart for New Orleans and continue to World War II Museum.

Day Five | Feb 23
This day we will go to a traditional New Orleans Cooking School followed by a stop at Mardi Gras World.

Day Six | Feb 24
On our last day we will enjoy Brunch at Famous Court of 2 Sisters before heading to the Airport to Depart for Phoenix.

The official colors of Mardi Gras are purple, green and gold. Purple represents justice, green represents faith and gold represents power.
A King Cake is an oblong pastry that contains a tiny plastic baby who represents the Christ child. Whoever gets the baby hidden within the king cake must buy the next one. And so the tradition continues on to Mardi Gras Day. There are different styles of King Cake from traditional to modern, all of them delicious.
At the drink's core is Sweet Crude Rum produced by Lafayette's only distillery, Rank Wildcat Spirits. The rouler is balanced with sweet and sour, simple syrup, bitters and club soda and is served over ice
